She developed an incurable condition of wanderlust while growing up in Southeast Asia as a third-culture kid, and has been exploring the globe ever since. She’s the author of the Liberty Frye series, the YA romantic intrigue novel The Orphan of Torundi, and most recently, illustrator and co-author to rhyming children’s picture book, Theodore, The Sloth Who Wants to Race. Her author site can be found at JLMcCreedy.com.
Dr. Sam practiced Veterinary Medicine for a number of years (he once was asked to treat someone’s “kitty” that turned out to be a lion!) before deciding that he wanted to help people, too. So he went to medical school and now practices Family Medicine. He has worked in all kinds of places, including the USA, Germany, the Kingdom of Tonga, Samoa, China, Indonesia and Italy. In his free time, he comes up with funny stories that speak to resilience, self-empowerment and inclusion. He is co-author of Theodore, The Sloth Who Wants to Race.
